FAQ

Common questions

Answers about Linear sync, customer visibility, feedback, and pricing.

What is Feedvote primarily used for?

Feedvote turns selected Linear issues and projects into a customer-facing roadmap. Your team keeps working in Linear while stakeholders follow the work you choose to publish. Feedback, voting, comments, and changelogs can be added when you want participation as well as visibility.

Do customers need a Linear account?

No. Customers use your Feedvote portal to view shared work, follow roadmap progress, and—when enabled—submit feedback, vote, or comment without joining your Linear workspace.

Can every customer see a different roadmap?

Yes. Create customer groups, invite contacts, and choose exactly which feedback, Linear issues, and Linear projects each group sees. Access can be assigned manually or automated with separate Linear label rules for issues and projects.

Can I control what Feedvote imports from Linear?

Yes. Choose issues, projects, or both; select source teams; filter by Linear projects, issue labels, project labels, one created-date condition, and completed work; choose comment rules; preview the matching count; and map statuses. New imports start team-only for review.

Can the public roadmap be read-only or moderated?

Yes. You can make a portal read-only, pause only new submissions, require login for interaction, or keep new feedback hidden until an admin approves it. You can also filter the work public visitors see and choose which fields appear.

Can approved feedback go back to Linear?

Yes. Your team can review customer submissions before publishing them or creating connected Linear work. With two-way sync, relevant status updates return to the customer-facing roadmap.

How much does Feedvote cost?

Feedvote costs $49 per month or $499 per year after a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start.
